A typical day will include a lecture, demo or activity, collaborative group time, and a formal or informal assessment of what was learned that day! Lecture Notes:2/5/18: Read chapter 1, lesson 1 from the Diversity of Life book - the lesson is in PDF format below. The books stay in class!
Also, began taking notes on the Characteristics of Life, which is also below! 2/6/18: Finished taking notes on Characteristics of Life, assigned worksheet for homework
2/7/18: Took notes on the necessity of life; homework is to draw a picture of a living thing, identify the 6 characteristics, and tell me what its necessities are. Example picture below
Quiz on characteristics and necessities of life is on Friday, 2/16/18 2/15/18: The honorable Mrs. Federpsiel called science court into session. Was Marty innocent or guilty? CERC paragraph due Wednesday, February 28th!
2/26/2018: Assigned Chapter 1 vocab (words + definitions + sentences) due Thursday, March 1st.
2/27/2018: Began notes for chapter 1, lesson 1 life book. Notes so far are below.
2/28/18: Finished notes for chapter 1, lesson 1. Notes below. *Lesson 1 quiz will be on Friday, March 2nd! The quiz will be open worksheet!
